Do you provide psychotherapy?

Yes, we do provide a variety of psychotherapy sessions ranging from individual, group and family, and couples therapy.

How long does it take to be seen?

It depends on the visits.  A new evaluation typically takes 60-90 minutes, while a follow-up appointment will take 15-60 minutes, depending on the case.

Skype is the main platform used, but we also use Zoom, WebEx, Teams among others.

What do I do at my first session?

In an initial session, we will talk about you and me getting to know each other and assessing whether you can continue the work together based on your needs and my experience. (Sometimes, I may need to refer you to another provider who can better meet your needs.)

Then I'll ask you for more information about your concerns, including a history of mental health problems if any, and what problems you are currently facing due to mental health. At the end of the session, I will usually discuss with you the next steps.

What is the minimum age to be eligible for a psychological evaluation?

The minimum age for a psychological evaluation is 8 years old. Our evaluation will be based on each individual’s age, requirement and/or ability.

What services are not available in this clinic?

Disability form completion, detox treatment, controlled medication prescriptions, service animal letter, bariatric services.
